EduPeace – Empowering Schools for Peaceful and Inclusive Learning Environments

On 9–10 March 2026, representatives of the partner organisations involved in the EduPeace – Empowering Schools for Peaceful and Inclusive Learning Environments project gathered in Lublin, Poland, for the first Transnational Project Meeting.
The two-day meeting provided an important opportunity for the partners to assess the progress made during the initial phase of the project, clarify their responsibilities and jointly plan the next stages of implementation. Through constructive discussions and collaborative working sessions, the partnership strengthened its common understanding of the project’s objectives, activities and expected results.
During the first day, the partners reviewed the general status of the project, including the activities already completed, the tasks currently in progress and the main administrative and coordination requirements. Particular attention was given to Work Package 2 – Primary Research. The partners discussed the implementation of the research activities, the information and survey responses collected from teachers and students, the feedback received and the next steps required to complete the research process.
The findings from the primary research will play an important role in ensuring that the future EduPeace resources respond to the real needs and challenges experienced within school communities. The partners therefore examined how the collected information could support the development of practical, relevant and accessible educational tools.
Dissemination and communication were also central topics during the meeting. The partners reviewed the activities already carried out, the communication channels to be used and the coordination of dissemination actions among the participating organisations. The Turkish partner presented the project’s dissemination strategy, providing a shared framework for increasing the visibility of the project and promoting its activities and results at local, national and European levels.
On the second day, discussions focused on the next phases of the project, including the development of the planned outputs, the allocation of responsibilities and preparations for the implementation and testing activities. The partners reviewed the project timeline, upcoming deadlines and deliverables, while also discussing the coordination needed between the different work packages.
The meeting concluded with detailed operational planning and the distribution of tasks among the partner organisations. The participants agreed on the next steps related to project development, dissemination, reporting and preparation of the upcoming deliverables. The final working session allowed the partnership to summarise the decisions taken, establish clear action points and define the follow-up activities for the coming months.
Overall, the first Transnational Project Meeting in Lublin strengthened cooperation among the EduPeace partners and created a clear roadmap for the next stages of the project. Through open dialogue, shared planning and coordinated teamwork, the partnership took an important step towards developing innovative educational tools and resources that will support schools in creating peaceful, inclusive and emotionally resilient learning environments across Europe.
