The partners of the newly approved Erasmus+ project AI Skills Hub – Adult Education in Digital Competences met in Bulgaria on 18–19 March 2026 for the project’s kick-off transnational meeting.
The meeting marked the official start of the cooperation between Get Involved Association from Bulgaria, EDU TECH GRYPHON DISCOVERIES from Romania, and Fundacja FOTON from Poland. The project is implemented under project number 2025-1-BG01-KA210-ADU-000358572.
During the meeting, the partners reviewed the project objectives, clarified their responsibilities and agreed on the main implementation steps. The discussions focused especially on the preparation of the local AI literacy workshops, dissemination requirements, evaluation procedures, project branding and the common timeline for the following months.
Planning the Local AI Literacy Workshops
A major part of the kick-off meeting was dedicated to the organisation of the local workshops that will be delivered in Bulgaria, Romania and Poland.
Each partner will organise five online workshops, resulting in a total of 15 workshops across the partnership. Each workshop will involve at least 10 adult participants and will last between 30 and 60 minutes. The sessions will be practical, interactive and focused on the real-life use of artificial intelligence in adult education and professional work.
The partners agreed on five main workshop topics:
- Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence
- Privacy, Data Protection and Copyright
- Prompt Engineering and Image Generation
- Practical AI Tools for Content Creation
- Comparison of AI Chatbots
The workshops will help participants understand how AI can be used for creating content, presentations, lesson plans, images, videos and communication materials. They will also address important issues such as bias, privacy, copyright, hallucinations and responsible AI use.
Common Standards for Delivery and Evaluation
The partners agreed that each workshop should include a presentation, practical exercises and opportunities for participants to test AI tools directly.
All training materials will use the official project logo, the European Union emblem and the required Erasmus+ funding disclaimer. Partners will also record their workshops and upload the recordings and supporting materials to the shared project space or their organisational communication channels.
To measure the learning progress of participants, each workshop will use a pre-assessment and a post-assessment form. The common structure of the evaluation tools will be prepared in English and translated into Bulgarian, Romanian and Polish.
The collected evidence will include registration forms, assessment results, workshop recordings and screenshots showing both the presentation and the number of participants.
Dissemination and Communication
The kick-off meeting also established the minimum dissemination responsibilities of each partner.
Each organisation will publish information about the project on its website, prepare at least eight social media posts and regularly update the common dissemination table with links and evidence. The future AI Essentials Guide: Transforming Adult Learning & Work will be published in English and in the national languages of the partner countries.
Each partner will also share the digital guide directly with at least 10 relevant local stakeholders, including adult education providers, NGOs, training centres, educators and other organisations interested in digital skills and artificial intelligence.
A Shared Roadmap for the Next Project Phase
During the second day of the meeting, the partners agreed on deadlines for preparing the workshop presentations, agendas and evaluation materials. They also discussed registration procedures, the public call for participants and the technical platforms that may be used for the online sessions.
The partnership established a clear implementation period for the workshops and scheduled future coordination meetings to review progress, analyse workshop results and prepare the internal AI hackathon activities.
The kick-off meeting held in Bulgaria on 18–19 March 2026 created a strong foundation for cooperation between the three partner organisations. By agreeing on common quality standards, practical training topics and coordinated dissemination activities, the partners are now ready to support adults in developing the digital competences needed to use artificial intelligence effectively, critically and responsibly.
